The Monday before Thanksgiving, the students, and teachers at Claremore Heritage Adventist School hurried to get their morning work done so they could go over to the Claremore Church to help Ms. Nona Brese, the Community Services Director, with her Thanksgiving Baskets. The gym was half full of tables laden with groceries: green beans, corn, potatoes, turkeys, rolls, and even pie!
The baskets were perfect for a Thanksgiving Feast! The students helped fill the boxes for 40 families in our Claremore Community. The following day the teachers and some of the students came back to help distribute the boxes to the families as they arrived to pick them up. It was a wonderful blessing to all involved.
