Christmas Around the World was the title of Heritage Adventist School's 2024 Christmas Program. God inspired me to write about how Christians celebrate Christmas in different continents and countries. My students wanted to show the world that Christmas for us, Christians, is not essentially about the lights, Christmas trees, and worldly festivities, but mainly about the Bible promise in Isaiah 9:6, the birth of Jesus. We also honored the missionaries who left their comfort zones to preach the Gospel abroad. Without their efforts and hard work, the world wouldn't know anything about Jesus Christ, our Savior. Besides the many beautiful songs that the students sang, they also had their lines memorized about the continent and country each one represented. Mark 16:15 was also mentioned in the script to remind us that the desire of Jesus must be fulfilled. -Sueli Menezes
