Luis Prieto

Hispanic Ministries Director

Luis Prieto serves as the Hispanic Coordinator for the Oklahoma Conference, a position he has held for over three years. With an impressive 40 years in ministry, his journey has taken him from Colombia to New York City, and for the past 13 years, he has faithfully ministered within the Oklahoma Conference, serving in districts like West Siloam Springs and Tulsa.

Luis’s favorite foods reflect his roots, as he enjoys both Latin and Italian cuisine. In his free time, he indulges in his love for reading, traveling, gardening, and playing sports. His ministry is defined by 1 Peter 5:4, which reminds him of the eternal reward that awaits those who faithfully serve, a principle that has guided him throughout his life, regardless of financial reward.

Family is central to Luis's life, filled with laughter, cooking, and shared stories. His dream for the Hispanic churches he leads includes expanding their buildings, hiring more pastors, building new cabins at Wewoka, and tripling the membership. He’s passionate about evangelism and wishes to see greater involvement from both pastors and members alike, envisioning a future where each conference administrator leads three evangelistic campaigns a year.

Luis describes himself as dynamic, enthusiastic, and driven by a vision of progress for the conference. His family—composed of his wife, daughter, and extended relatives they support abroad—are dedicated to the work of God, with a shared commitment to serving others.
