Kris Knott

Kris Knott has been serving in ministry for over a year, leading the Ketchum, Jay, and Miami district. His call to pastoral service came in a moment of quiet reflection in his yard, where God spoke to him amidst the beauty of creation. The conviction to serve the Lord, born from that encounter, transformed his life. Inspired by the words of Malachi, Kris committed to leaving a self-centered path behind and has since embraced God’s calling with a heart of submission and determination.

His ministry is shaped by the ability to see the world from others’ perspectives, an insight that allows him to connect deeply with those he serves. Kris’s favorite Bible verse, Proverbs 16:7, reflects this belief: “When a man’s ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.” His leadership is driven by the desire to please the Lord in every aspect, striving to bring peace and understanding into the lives of those he encounters.

Kris brings the same passion for the outdoors into his ministry, enjoying disc golf and working outside in his free time. His family is known for their laughter, deep conversations about God, and love for experiencing new places and activities together. Whether it's sharing tacos or exploring nature, Kris’s family embraces the joy of life while keeping their faith at the center.

His dream in ministry is bold and ambitious: to build a life-size replica of Old Testament scenes on a university campus, creating a vivid, tangible teaching tool for biblical education. Guided by his passion for truth, Kris understands that “truth hurts,” but it also heals, and his commitment is to lead others to that healing truth with grace and perseverance.
