Dalia Castellanos
Human Resources
As a Human Resources Generalist with over 20 years of ministry experience and more than a decade in her current role, Dalia Castellanos is a steadfast presence in the Oklahoma Conference. Her work extends far beyond administrative tasks, touching countless lives by supporting, guiding, and caring for each employee and their families. Dalia’s rich background includes time at the Allegheny West Conference, Arkansas-Louisiana Conference, and Atlantic Union Conference, where she served as Executive Administrative Assistant across multiple departments, including Human Resources, Hispanic Ministries, Planned Giving and Trust Services, Youth Ministries, and Education. Her dedication is rooted in her faith, as she lives by Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,” which empowers her daily in her work and life.
Dalia’s passion for her Guatemalan heritage and love of Hispanic food bring warmth and a sense of connection to the traditions of her family. Her favorite—pupusas—symbolizes the community, flavor, and celebration she cherishes. Her journey as a second-generation immigrant has helped her blend the richness of her cultural heritage with her own unique path, giving her a deep appreciation for the balance between tradition and progress.
Beyond the office, Dalia finds peace and strength in nature, whether she’s taking a long walk, reading, or simply enjoying the quiet outdoors. Describing herself as reflective and grounded, she values moments of solitude as much as those filled with family warmth. Her greatest aspiration in her role is to implement a new HR system that would streamline processes, enhance data accuracy, and improve the HR experience for every employee, ensuring that each person feels seen, valued, and supported.
Dalia’s legacy of compassion, faith, and dedication continues to be a cornerstone in her ministry, where she works tirelessly to build a workplace that is welcoming, efficient, and filled with grace. Ever grateful, she prays for unity and faithfulness within the Conference, eagerly awaiting the day when all can go home together.
