Annette Piñero
Education Assistant
Meet Annette V. Piñero, our new Administrative Assistant to the Education and Ministerial Departments. She may be new to her position, but Annette's dedication to ministry and her wealth of experience make her an integral part of our team.
Annette started her position at the Oklahoma Conference in January 2025. Her background in ministry includes contributing to pathfinders, youth ministries, and evangelism, and she has supported her husband as a pastor's wife for over 15 years. Annette's commitment to serving others is unwavering, and she brings a fresh perspective and a heart full of passion to her new role.
Hailing from Puerto Rico, Annette's favorite foods include the vibrant flavors of Puerto Rican cuisine, as well as Thai, Mediterranean, Italian, and Indian dishes. Her culinary tastes are as diverse as her professional background. Annette has worked as an Administrative Assistant in various medical offices, served in the scheduling department of 3 Angels Broadcasting Network, and translated for Amazing Facts Sabbath School.
In her free time, Annette enjoys spending quality time with her family, playing board games with close friends, singing, and traveling. She is a shy and introverted person who values deep conversations and meaningful connections. Annette finds joy in organizing and creating experiences that help others, often preferring to work behind the scenes rather than in the spotlight.
A verse that defines Annette's ministry is Isaiah 40:31, which embodies the renewal, endurance, and trust in God she seeks to share with others. Annette's vision is to create an environment where people feel truly connected to God and each other. She aims to organize events and experiences that inspire, uplift, and bring lasting spiritual growth.
One memorable family story Annette shares is from a trip to Puerto Rico, where her husband accidentally left his iPad on the roof of their car. As they sped down the highway, they heard a loud thump and saw the iPad flying through the air. Unfortunately, a truck ran over it, crushing it completely. While there were tears at the time, the story has since become a cherished and humorous family memory.
Annette's thoughtful and intentional approach to her work, combined with her passion for her family and faith, makes her a valuable addition to our team. We are excited to see the positive impact she will continue to make in her role. Welcome, Annette! We are thrilled to have you on board and look forward to the incredible contributions you will bring to our community.
