Adam Littell
Director of Education
Adam Littell, our esteemed Superintendent of Education, joined us in July 2022 and has already made an indelible mark on the Oklahoma Conference. With a wealth of experience spanning from teaching math and science at Union Springs Academy to serving as the principal at Midland Adventist Academy, Adam brings a unique blend of expertise, dedication, and vision to his role.
Adam's journey into education administration began at Mount Pisgah Adventist Academy, where he enjoyed being a vice-principal for academics. He went on to become a principal at Midland Adventist Academy. His leadership has always been characterized by a steady, level-headed approach, underpinned by his strong background in math and science. Adam values data-driven decision-making and collaborative efforts, ensuring that every step taken is well-considered and inclusive.
Beyond his professional achievements, Adam is a true family man. His commitment to quality time with his family is evident from the heartwarming story of his 40th birthday, where family members from across the country gathered in Oklahoma to celebrate with him. This dedication to family and the importance of quality time is a core value that Adam brings to his interactions with colleagues and the community.
In his free time, Adam enjoys exploring the great outdoors with his wife, Nina. Whether it's hiking, canoeing, kayaking, or playing sports like golf, baseball, and volleyball, Adam embraces an active lifestyle that reflects his love for nature and recreation.
Adam's favorite cuisines, Italian and Mexican, speak to his diverse tastes and appreciation for rich flavors. His guiding principle, derived from John 3:30, “He must increase, but I must decrease,” exemplifies his humility and reliance on divine guidance in his role. Adam believes that true success in education comes through God's leadership, not his own.
Adam's DREAM BIG idea is nothing short of inspiring: to establish an Adventist school in every town in Oklahoma. His unwavering commitment and his passion for continuous growth—both personal and professional—make him an invaluable asset to our conference.
We are truly blessed to have Adam Littell as part of our team, and his contributions are already shaping a brighter future for education in Oklahoma.
